Okay, I tested hypoinverse 1.3 on Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X, all that remains is Windows.

Note that the ZTR command from memphis test now requires 2 arguments, not just the trial depth since trial depth can now be negative. It needs a T or F for if the value is the fixed trial depth or a real negative value.

Change the memphis2000.hyp to ZTR command to:

Just so all on ewdev knows, the hypoinverse 1.3 is integrated into SVN, so if you do a checkout, you will be using this version. Please note the backward compatibility issue I noted in the ticket about the ZTR command.

I am waiting on Fred Klein to get me any final final changes, but they should be minor relative to the integration and testing on all 3 platforms.

Note that Stefan compiled and tested this on windows using the Intel 9 compiler.

Finally Will Kohler is exploring using gfortran on windows as a replacement to the Intel compiler AND has already gotten hyp2000 to compile there with it (hyp2000_mgr remains).

As an update, the hyp2000 and hyp2000_mgr have been upgraded to hypoinverse 1.34 as released by Fred over the weekend (July 10, 2011) from an email to me and others. The new code is in r4392 in subversion, so update your hyp2000 directory if you want to get the latest copy to test with.

I have compiled this successfully on Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris.

I have run tested this with hyp2000_mgr on Mac OS X and Linux, and working on Solaris.

Okay, solaris tests out now too.

All that remains is a memphis test run on Windows and this is cleared to go.

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to fixed

Stefan tested on Windows Server 2003 64-bit. This sucker is ready to roll.

As per discussion in ewdev, my tests on Mac OS X were done with a Intel 32-bit chipset and was not tested on 64-bit platform (using -m32 flag).

With this ticket closure, we are on our way to releasing 7.5!
