EWQuakeAlert didn't work against WWS

Description
When connecting to Winston Wave Server the EWQuakeAlert.jar hung and never returned...had to kill it to get it going again and switch back to a wave_serverV
This was on a Windows7 and I know WWS is working fine as Swarm 2.0 rc3 is still happy
